Montgomery Mini Mall Ringtone
If you haven’t seen the Montgomery Mini Mall guy, check this out:
After some searching I found out that the Montgomery Advertiser is hosting a Bluescreen Video Challenge, and supplying Bluescreen video of the guy as well as split up mp3 tracks in low bitrate.
So, of course, I had to get it and make a ringtone out of it. You can get it here:
Montgomery Flea Market Ringtone
I’ll keep the link up unless it starts being a major bandwidth hog. I figure it’ll just be a few nerdy jackasses like myself that want it, though. It works on my Blackberry 8700c.
Thanks to Cameron for the post where I learned about it.

Hey! Loved the ringtone…but how did you make it? I’ve been trying to make decent quality ringtones and can never figure it out.
If you could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome.
Thanks, ~Mick

Hey, thanks Mick. I split the MP3 using audacity, a free mp3 editing package, after I got the original audio from a contest pack.

How do you get the mp3 to go to your phone???

I got it onto my phone by typing in the web address of the mp3 in its internet browser. I don’t know if it works for other phones. Some carriers may actively try to prevent you from downloading ringtones yourself.
